In July, the committee got together for our monthly meeting. Below were the topics discussed:

  • All-Ireland Electric EV picnic review
    • Great success, we’d love to do more collabs with EVANI
  • Matthew gave an update on corp members
    • One prospect said they were not interested, which we cannot name
    • Handled some queries
    • Consolidated our membership queries/corp data into a single place
    • Asked how we check members when there’s a query on payment — added the member portfolio email to our Stripe account for quick checks, and fixed HubSpot CRM list
  • ZEVI launch update
    • Attended by Kevin (chair), Eamon (treasurer) & Thomas (secretary)
  • Chat about Energia press release associated to home charging survey data
  • Fiannce update
    • Can’t get a corporate card so need to continue to spend-and-expense when needed
  • Proposal to work with Box Media on membership & marketing activities
    • Committee agrees to this and reckons the proposal is good, concerns have been addressed
    • We’ll meet with their lead again in August to finalise details and present to membership
  • Note that we should consider rebranding in-line with colleagues around Europe with the “EV Association of…” monicker
    • EVAI? EVAIE?
